Vision, Values and Missions
As a Federation our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. As a new leadership team and developing Federation we renewed our visions and values in July 2018.
‘Facilitate an exciting and inspiring curriculum that fosters children’s natural curiosity and supports the development of skills and knowledge that prepares them for life thus raising their aspirations and enabling them to be the very best they can be.’
Our core priorities to achieve our vision of excellence for all are:
We will ensure that all pupils receive the highest quality consistent teaching and learning. We aim to achieve this through developing a consistent approach to all aspects of teaching, learning and other aspects of a child learning journey throughout their time at both schools. We also aim to build on our highly inclusive approach through maximising Federation resources to meet the needs of all pupils through creative and flexible use of staff and the Learning lodge.
Achievement is significantly above national. We aim to achieve this through working towards aspirational targets for all, ensuring teaching and learning is well matched to individual need and supports parents to work with their children and share the same aspiration. We also aim to deliver a curriculum that is relevant to their interests and develops ambition and aspiration in our pupils.
We will ensure that there is a consistently high quality learning environment and resources to enhance teaching and learning. We aim to ensure that both the indoor learning environments and outdoor grounds are inspiring, support the curriculum and enable all children to learn in a variety of contexts.
Develop an effective Federation. We aim to continue to develop the effectiveness of the federation by developing effectiveness of cross school leadership, streamlining processes and gaining best value.
We have strengthened community ties. We aim that all pupils will develop a sense of community and belonging by supporting local, national and global charities and having opportunities to work with the local community.
Our School Values:
These are very important to us and permeate all aspects of school life; they are a code by which we learn and live. These shared values are:
“Learn, enjoy, achieve, discover, together”
“Love to learn, learn to care, belong, believe, achieve, be happy”
