RHSA (Infants) and PTA (Juniors)
We are two groups of parents/carers whose children attend Raysfield Infants’ School and/or Raysfield Junior School. We organise events to raise monies to enrich their education above what the school is able to provide e.g. Equipment, Theatre Group Visits, Play Equipment, Outdoor Learning Waterproofs, High Viability Jackets and much much more. As a parent you are automatically a member of the RHSA/PTA and we would love to see you at one of our meetings, our yearly AGM or one of our events to find out how you can help.
Infant RHSA ‘Friends of School’
RHSA stands for ‘Raysfield Home School Association’; this is the name of the body of parents and carers who fund raise and organise events that benefit the children of Raysfield and their families.
We are very proud of the continued good work. Every year there is a rolling programme of events but we are always seeking new ideas and ways to engage and excite pupils and parents alike. So please feel free to come along and find out more – our door is always open!
Each year we meet to plan events, we promote our work at Open Days and Parents forums and are always keen to welcome new members. Successful annual events include:
- Ladies Night
- Christmas, Easter and Summer Fayres
- School discos
- Bingo evenings for children
- Quiz Nights for families

Junior School PTA
The Junior School PTA is a fundraising group made up of parents, carers, teachers and Governors. We are a friendly open group and welcome any new faces who might be interested to come along and see what we do and how they can help.
We meet at regular intervals, usually once a term, early evening in the Lodge. We have a Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary plus other eager helpers to support all the hard work we do.
A few of the things we have done recently:-
- School Disco
- Book at Bedtime
- Christmas Fair
- Annual Quiz Night
- Carnival Float
- Summer Fair
- Bags to School
A final word…
Please come along to our meetings, our doors are always open. However, if you are unable to attend any RHSA/PTA meetings but have ideas or suggestions please feel free to let either School Office know. The School Office also has copies of all RHSA/PTA minutes if they are required.
