Welcome from Claire Hill, Headteacher

On behalf of the Governors, staff and children here at Raysfield Schools Federation, we would like to welcome you to our schools. As a Federation, we take great pride in developing every child to learn in their own unique way on one seamless learning journey across our two school sites (infant site and junior site).

We are committed to proving an excellent service to our community, which is achieved through an inspiring curriculum where our young people are motivated to learn, our teaching team are committed to their development and strong working relationships are built with all our families through positive partnerships. There is no better time to join us!

Team Raysfield is dedicated to a foundation of core values: RESPECT, INDEPENDENCE, RESILIENCE, POSTIVITY, HONESTY and AMBITION, which are woven through all we do in order to provide a secure, safe and happy learning environment for our young people. Together we aim to provide an educational journey that will nurture a love of learning, encourage children to make positive impact on the lives of others and develop the knowledge, skills and values to engage with the world now and in the future.

Our website contains a wealth of information for you to explore. However, we know and respect the uniqueness of all children, so if you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, I encourage you to contact myself or one of our Associate Head Teachers to discuss your child’s education further.

A warm welcome to Team Raysfield.

What our parents say…

Communication to parents at Raysfield is fantastic, staff at the school are approachable and always ready to help. My son loves to receive Dojo points, it is a great tool for parents to see what the children get up to at school.

I am so impressed with Raysfield school. My children have come on so much. The teachers are fantastic and really listen to you and support you. There is a lovely family feel but also a high level of professionalism.

I’ve been encouraged and pleased with the changes made in school over the last year in the behaviour system and communication. I feel supported as a parent and feel I can approach staff.

The class dojo is brilliant for communication and to find out what exciting things my children have been up to at school. I have even bought the parent dojo so that I can give points and set challenges for my children at home. We love our school!

My children enjoy learning at Raysfield as their teachers make their lessons fun and informative. Big Maths teaches them fun ways to approach maths. Their project based learning let’s them cover a range of subjects from English, Art to science within one topic so they really become involved and know everything about it!
